Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing. Concentration required for neat finishing.

SIZE:
Approx. 12cm in length worked with a 4.00mm hook and double knitting/light worsted yarn

MATERIALS:
Yarns:
50gr of double knitting/light worsted yarn, in brown and a small amount of beige

Hooks & Notions:
Fiberfill/Toy Stuffing
Size 4.00mm Hook
Size 3.50mm Hook
Size 3.00mm Hook
Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker
4 Small Buttons

GAUGE:
22sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10cm
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect

Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC - half double crochet
DC – double crochet

I use US Crochet stitch terminology.

Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.

Instructions:
Bodysuit:
With double knitting/light worsted Brown Yarn and 4,00mm Hook:  CH64
Row 1: 1DC in 4th CH from hook, 1 DC in next 8 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DC in next 14 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DC in next 10 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DC in next 14 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1 DC in next 10, turn (66DC)
Row 2: 3CH (counts as DC), 1 DC in next 9 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DCin next 16 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DC in next 14 STS, 3DC in next ST,1DC in next 16 STS, 3DC in next ST, 1DC in next 10 STS, turn (78DC)
Shaping Armholes:
Row 3: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in next 10 STS, SKIP next 18 STS, 1DC in next 20 STS, SKIP next 18 STS, 1DC in next 11 STS, turn (42DC)
Row 4-5: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in each ST until end, turn (42DC).
Row 6: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in each ST until end, SL ST into 3rd of 3CH, continue working in the round.
Row 7-8: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in each ST until end.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Rejoin yarn at the back and work over 20 STS only

Back:
Row 1: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 10 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 2: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 6 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 3: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 2 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 4: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog, 1DC in next 2 STS, dc2tog, 1DC, turn
Row 5 - 11: 3Ch (counts as DC), 1 DC in each ST till end, turn. (6DC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Front: Rejoin yarn at the front and work over the center 20 STS – SKIP 1 ST on each SIDE!
Row 1: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 10 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 2: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 6 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 3: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog x2, 1DC in next 2 STS, dc2tog x2, 1DC, turn
Row 4: 3CH (counts as DC), dc2tog, 1DC in next 2 STS, dc2tog, 1DC, turn

Row 5 - 7: 3Ch (counts as DC), 1 DC in each ST till end, turn. (6DC).
Work 1 SC into each ST and each ROW all around (front and back). Fasten off and weave in ends.
Attach 2 small buttons to the front flap – big/small enough to fit thru the space between the DC STS.

Teddy Appliqué:
This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current rnd.
Rnd 1: With beige yarn, CH 2. Work 6 SC in second CH from hook. Place a stitch marker in the last SC to designate the end of the rnd.
Rnd 2: Work 2 SC in each ST around (12 SC). Move marker
Rnd 3: *Work 2 SC in next ST and 1 SC in next ST. Repeat from * around (18 SC). Move marker
Rnd 4: *Work 2 SC in next ST and 1 SC in each of the next 2 STS. 
Repeat from * around (24 SC). Move marker
Rnd 5: SL ST in next ST, (3CH,2DC,3CH) in next ST, SL ST in next 5 STS, (3CH,2DC,3CH) in next ST, SL ST all around. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Sew appliqué onto the front of the bodysuit.
Hoodie:
With double knitting/light worsted Brown Yarn and 4,00mm Hook:  CH42

Row 1: 1DC in 4th CH from hook, 1DC in each ST until end (40DC), turn
Row 2: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in each ST until end (40DC), turn
Row 3: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in same ST as 3CH, 1DC in each ST until last ST, 2DC in last ST (42DC), turn
Row 4-5: 3CH (counts as DC), 1DC in each ST until end (42DC), turn
Row 6: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 14 STS, 1DC in next 12 STS, 1HDC in next 15 STS, turn
Row 7: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 14 STS, 1DC in next 12 STS, 1HDC in next 15 STS, turn
Row 8: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 14 STS, DC2tog, 1DC in next 8 STS, DC2tog, 1 HDC in next 15 STS, turn
Row 9: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 14 STS, DC2tog, 1DC in next 6 STS, DC2tog, 1 HDC in next 15 STS, turn
Row 10: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 14 STS, DC2tog, 1DC in next 4 STS, DC2tog, 1 HDC in next 15 STS, DO NOT TURN CONTINUE IN THE ROUND
Rnd 11: SL ST into 1st HDC, 2CH (counts as HDC) 1HDC into next 3 STS, HDC2tog, *1HDC into next 4 STS, HDC2tog. Repeat from * until end.
Rnd 12: SL ST into 1st HDC, 2CH (counts as HDC) 1HDC into next 2 STS, HDC2tog, *1HDC into next 3 STS, HDC2tog. Repeat from * until end.
Rnd 13: SL ST into 1st HDC, 2CH (counts as HDC) 1HDC into next ST, HDC2tog, *1HDC into next 2 STS, HDC2tog. Repeat from * until end.
Rnd 14: SL ST into 1st HDC, 2CH (counts as HDC), HDC2tog, *1HDC into next ST, HDC2tog. Repeat from * until end. Fasten off and sew hole close.

Hoodie Strap:
With double knitting/light worsted Beige Yarn and 4,00mm Hook:  CH19

Work as follows: 1HDC in 10th CH from Hook, 1HDC in next 10 STS, attach strap with a SC to hoodie and SC evenly all around the back. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Attach button to side of hoodie.
Outer Ears: (Make Two)
With double knitting/light worsted Brown Yarn and 4,00mm Hook:  CH4

Rnd 1: Work 11DC into 4th CH from hook, SL ST into 3rd CH from 3CH
Rnd 2: CH3, 1DC in same ST, work 2DC in each ST until last 3STS,
SL ST into last 3 STS and into 3rd of 3CH, SL ST all around.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Inner Ears: (Make Two)
With double knitting/light worsted Brown Yarn and 4,00mm Hook:  CH4
Rnd 1: Work 11DC into 4th CH from hook, SL ST into 3rd CH from 3CH.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Sew Inner ears to inside of Outer ears, and attach Outer ears to hoodie.
Shoes:
With double knitting/light worsted Brown Yarn and 3,5mm Hook:  CH7

This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current rnd.


Sole: Size: 6cm in length worked with a 3.50mm hook and double knitting/light worsted yarn
Rnd 1: 2SC in 2nd CH from hook, 1SC in next 4CH, 4SC in last CH, 
(working on opposite side) 1SC in next 4CH, 2SC in last CH (16SC)
Rnd 2: 2SC in next 2 STS, 1SC in next 4CH, 2SC in next 4 STS,
1 SC in next 4 STS, 2SC in next 2 STS (24SC)
Rnd 3: 1 SC in next ST, 2SC in next ST, 1 SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1 SC in next 2 STS, 2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1SC in next ST  (28SC)
Rnd 4: 1SC in next 2 STS, 2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 4 STS, 2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 2 STS (32SC)
Rnd 5: 1SC in next 3 STS, 2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1 SC in next 6 STS, 2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 8 STS,
2SC in next ST, 1SC in next 3 STS (36SC)
Rnd 6: For this rnd only work in back loops - 1SC in each ST, SL ST in 1ST SC.

Instep:
Rnd 7: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in each ST, SL ST in 2nd CH of 2CH (36HDC)
Rnd 8: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 10 STS, dc2tog x8, 1HDC in next 9 STS, SL ST in 2nd CH of 2CH (28STS)
Rnd 9: 2CH (counts as HDC), 1HDC in next 10 STS, hdc2tog x4, 1HDC in next 9 STS.
Change hook to 3.00mm and continue as follows:
Rnd 10: CH3, 1 DC in each ST, SL ST in 2nd of 2CH (24DC)
Rnd 11-13: CH3, 1DC in each ST, SL ST in 3rd of 3CH (24DC) Fasten off and weave in ends.
Rnd 14: Join beige yarn with a SL ST to an outside loop, CH2, 1HDC in each ST, SL ST in 2nd of 2CH (24HDC)
Rnd 15-16: CH2, 1HDC in each ST, SL ST in 2nd of 2CH (24HDC). Fasten off and weave in ends
